The Janusz Korczak Garden
Research | Reform | Revive
Welcome to the Janusz Korczak Garden!
We are a group of gardeners coming from backgrounds of academia, pedagogy and art.
Together, we design gardens of knowledge and creativity, through which we seek to promote research, learning and artistic creativity around diverse fields of knowledge and to spread them around the world.
These gardens are located in a unique space, one that bridges the virtual with the physical and seeks to reform society’s relationship with nature. In fact, we believe that the elements of research, reform and
revival are all already a part of our nature.
About the Janusz Korczak Garden
This particular garden was planned within the empirical reality of Janusz Korczak’s humanistic legacy and its applications to the contemporary world. You are welcome to enter and visit the various areas of the garden — to visit the speaker’s corners, to enter the greenhouses, to walk through the flowerbeds — and to contribute to various concepts and projects that are currently germinating throughout the garden.
We invite you to join us and become a gardener yourself, by planting and nurturing your own ideas within the garden’s architecture, or just by wandering, dwelling, and meditating in an open field of knowledge.

Perspectives from Germany

PArkademia
School of Life for the 21st Century
We seek collaboration with scholars, educators and activists to further investigate the relevance of Janusz Korczak’s The School of Life, and other writings, in the 21st century — and the many global challenges facing humanity.
Research
We invite you to submit abstracts for the publication of a scholarly volume that will examine contemporary issues in society and education through Janusz Korczak’s writing and pedagogy. The volume will bring together a variety of disciplinary, conceptual and empirical perspectives in order to offer a novel evaluation of contemporary issues in education.
